Remi hair is the complete hair strand and has not been weakened by stripping. Remi hair is created by careful processing which leaves the cuticle in place. Remi hair is often referred to as "cuticle hair" because the cuticle is left intact.
Our Remi hair is the finest and most beautiful human hair in existence. Throughout the entire manufacturing process, the hair is kept root end first; with the cuticle in tact. This eliminates common problems such as matting, dullness, and weaker hair shafts found in common store bought human hair. The result is stronger, superior hair. Still, this hair has undergone some processing (such as cleaning, curly perming or dyeing), so it should also be treated gently.
Store bought human hair does not have the cuticle in tact, the hair receives and acid bath, which almost completely strips the hair shaft of cuticle, leaving it much weaker, and easily broken. Stripped cuticle hair is also chemically treated to give the hair an artificial softness and shine, which wears down over time, causing tangling and a poor appearance. Remi hair does not have any of these problems and is the highest quality hair you can purchase.

Hair Definitions
CUTICLE: The outside surface of a human hair, which contains "imbrications" or overlapping scale-like features. In wigs, this layer is usually removed by chemical means to minimize tangling. Remi (Remi) hair and Virgin hair are harvested with the cuticle going in the same direction, and the cuticle remains intact during the wig making process.
CUSTOM-MADE WIG: A wig where a choice of any combination of cap construction and size, type and quality of hair or fiber, length, curl pattern, and color are used to create a wig which is unique for the individual.
